How long does shipping from James Allen to Hong Kong take?<\/h3>\n\n\n\n

To allow time for proper inspection by their gemologists, loose diamonds are shipped 1-4 days after payment. All shipping is via FedEx priority. All other jewelry and engagement rings will be shipped in one to three weeks, depending on the production schedule of that item.<\/p>\n\n\n\n

Orders over US$500 in value are shipped via FedEx International Priority while those who are under US$500 in value are shipped via FedEx Economy or USPS. Order status and tracking information are available from the JamesAllen.com website.<\/p>\n\n\n\n

You\u2019ll get a shipping estimate at the checkout screen, so you can see if it works with your timings. Once shipped, postage will take 1 \u2013 3 business days.<\/p>\n\n\n

How do James Allen returns work in Hong Kong?<\/h3>\n\n\n\n

If, for any reason, you are not satisfied with your order, you can return it within the first 30 days of shipment for a full refund or exchange.<\/p>\n\n\n\n

You will need to cover the cost of shipping back to the US and if your ring was engraved, there will be a US$25 \u2018re-polishing fee\u2019 so that the engraving can be removed and the setting re-used.<\/p>\n\n\n\n

To return your order just take it to your nearest FedEx location and mail it back to James Allen. If you need packaging materials, FedEx will assist you. If you prefer another courier, contact their Customer Service department first.<\/p>\n\n\n\n

What if you need to get the ring resized?<\/h3>\n\n\n\n

James Allen will resize your ring once for free within the first year of your purchase. Hong Kong customers pay a small return shipping fee of US $50. If more than one resize is needed a US$25 fee applies to resize white, yellow and rose gold rings, and US $50 for platinum.  They do not charge to ship the ring back to you, that service is always free.<\/p>\n\n\n\n

Resizing your ring locally will cost anywhere from HK$ 200 to HK$ 600 depending on the complexity of the resize and metal used.<\/p>\n\n\n\n
